Isaiah Metamorphasis!

Isaiah is two weeks old now! And he's already changing his look. His head is getting bigger, the space between his eyes is widening, his body is getting wider, and he's growing at an alarming rate! We have also noticed that Isaiah has many faces to show off. Sometimes he's smiling, sometimes he's mad, sometimes he looks like a wise old man. We have captured some of his funny faces and posted them below. We gave Isaiah his first bath today. He never cried once during bath time. He actually enjoyed it! Isaiah has shown his desire to be a soccer player because he kicks you every time you hold him. He's is so much fun and is a joy to hold (when he's not kicking you).

Isaiah having a great time in the bath tub! A big thanks to Aunt Melissa for letting us use Bailey's bath tub.

"Please don't leave me here!" Isaiah not sure what to think after being placed in the water for the first time.

Here is our little panther hanging from a tree limb.

Here's our little lion growling at the camera. "ROOOOOAAAR!"

"Who are you!??"

We love this picture. His head looks so big and peaceful lying on daddy's hand. No, daddy isn't choking him. Daddy was burping Isaiah and little Zaya decided he had no energy left.

Zay-Zay

Mr. Isaiah is 1 week old now. After a couple of rough nights, little Zaya is finally enjoying his stay at his new home. Rachel likes to call him "little piglet" and Casey likes to call him "Zaya the Playa". At his recent doctor visit, Isaiah weighed in at 6 pounds. He feeds like a little pig and makes big messes for mommy and daddy to clean up. His cheeks are getting bigger and bigger every day. Every once in awhile we will catch Zaya with a great big smile. Zaya is full of surprises, and has already peed on Rachel, Casey, and the diaper bag. "Lil Zay Zay" loves to travel and never fusses in his car seat and stroller. He's looking forward to meeting his grandparents from California who will be visiting next week.

Isaiah Update

Baby Isaiah was brought home from the hospital on Monday. Isaiah and Mama were very glad to get out of the hospital and get some fresh air! Casey and Rachel were both very excited to bring him home. We weren't quite ready for Isaiah's first night home. Fortunately, Grandma Pieper came and stayed the night. After a belly ache from eating too much, he finally settled down around 4 in the morning so everyone could get some rest. He is a very well tempered baby and loves to be held and coddled. Mama and Isaiah are recovering quickly and are glad to be back home. Isaiah in his bassinet
