Zaya's Adventures!

Lately Isaiah has been so full of mischief. I guess it is normal, but scrubbing crayon and pen off of walls and furniture sure gets old when you have a huge belly in the way! I have to make sure and keep any kind of writing device out of his reach or he will draw on anything and everything. The other day I went upstairs for 3 minutes tops and when I came back downstairs this is what I found! I guess he is trying to tell me that if I am not going to get around to painting the walls, then he will do it for me. :) Luckily it all came off with a little elbow grease and a whole box full of magic erasers! Those things really are magical!

Also  last week I had been telling Zaya that we were going to be going to play group to go swimming in the big pool. We had been talking about it all day Tuesday and he was so excited to go on Wednesday! Then Tuesday night I realized that playgroup was on Thursday this week, not Wednesday. I knew Isaiah would be disappointed  so I asked Casey what we should do instead. Well we decided to get out the little blow up pool that we bought at Wal-Mart a few months back, and blow it up and go swimming in our own backyard! We haven't quite finished installing the backyard yet, but Zaya had a blast anyway. He had so much fun swimming and splashing all morning with me, then when dad came home from work he wanted to go swimming with him too! He is my little water boy! I am so glad to have this little pool because now that it is getting into the triple digits it will come in handy to be able to get outside without dying of heat stroke! You can just see how much fun he is having in these pictures!

Fun with Family

It was so fun to have Ben and Jamie and their two cute little boys come and visit us last month. They came up May 20-24th and we had such a fun time having them here! I wish we could have them here every weekend it was so much fun! We will definitely be going to visit them down in Arizona once we get this baby here and get settled into our new crazy lives! I wish we had more family that lived closer! Here are some of the fun things we did while they were here: went out to eat at Famous Dave's and Red Lobster, which was really awesome because we all got a great deal at Red Lobster with our coupons and gift cards which made it so we could go out to eat twice! We also went to Bass Pro Shop, which Isaiah never gets sick of doing. :) On Saturday morning Ben and Casey had a fun time cruising around Lake Mead fishing in Casey's new kayak. Jamie and I enjoyed taking the kids to the park and shopping while the men had their fun. Sunday was church and Ben and Jamie made us an awesome dinner! Then Monday we went to the strip to see the Belagio gardens, the lions at the MGM, a short 10 minute 3D movie at M&M world, ate at the Rainforest Cafe where Zach and Zaya both got free birthday desserts and rode the Monorail all around! It was so much fun and I am surprised at how well all of the boys did without getting their naps in. We wished that Casey could have come with us but he had to work. We had so much fun having them here and can't wait to see them again. (Hopefully soon.)

They liked getting out of the hot sun inside the carriage.

Zaya loved the glass balloons (or badoons as he calls them).

I loved this painting made with flowers. It reminds me so much of the interpretive art that I  did in some of my floral classes in collage! If I could have a dream job it would probably be doing something like this!

I just love the different textures and  colors from the variety of flowers they used!

More Fun!

Zaya thought this alligator was pretty cool. It would move around and chomp its mouth open and closed.

Fixed it!

Okay, I was finally able to figure out how to get the backgrounds back. At least I can live with my blog now. It was so ugly a second ago. Well hopefully I can get it looking even better in the future, but if not oh well. I think I am all done for today...I will post some exciting posts soon. Sorry for these boring ones. :)

Oh Boy!

So I was trying to install a new cute blog background and somehow ended up deleting the HTML/Java script thing were you are supposed to copy and paste your blog background. Now it is gone and I don't know how to get it back. So I put a new background, using a different template so it wouldn't be blank at least. It is not very cute and I think I would have been better off not trying to make my blog look better. Now I am just frustrated and don't know how to get it back? Anyone know? If not my blog may be ugly forever! :)
