My First Snowfall

This morning we got our first snowfall and thought it would be fun to take Isaiah out in it. We all got bundled up even though there was less than an inch of snow on the ground. Isaiah played in the snow for the very first time! His pants were a little soggy (not from his diaper) after sitting in the snow a little too long. He really seemed to like it but wasn't sure what to think of it.

Gone Fishing

On Saturday I went fishing with a work friend to Strawberry Lake in Utah. We arrived at the lake at 6:30 in the morning. It was so cold that ice was forming on the end of the my pole and I couldn't cast! My third cast in the water I pulled out this monster of a fish. It's a 22 inch Bear Lake Cutthroat. After not catching much for the past year, I decided this fish was blog worthy:)

Halloween in Rexburg

We went up to Rexburg for the day to spend halloween with family. Grandma made some delicious chili and corn bread. For dessert, Grandma had homemade donuts ready for us. They were very delicious. Isaiah wasn't very scary in his pooh-bear costume but still had fun dressing up for his first halloween (the costume was kindly given to us by Aunt Melissa). We had a happy halloween watching Harry Potter and Monsters Inc. As always we wish our visit would have lasted longer. We are all looking forward to Thanksgiving with family in California.
