Well school is under way now and we are as busy as ever! Casey is going to school full time, working part time, and watching Isaiah while I go to class. We were both trying to go to school full time this semester but while trying to raise this little boy it just wasn't working. So after the first week of school I decided the best thing would be to drop a few classes. So it doesn't look like I will be graduating the end of July like I hoped. I think it will be better for us all in the long run, even if it does mean taking longer for me to finish. At least I will still have my sanity! I have a feeling it is still going to be a long semester though!
Isaiah just turned 8 months old and still loves to just sit there! He isn't in any hurry to crawl. Although I finally did catch him rolling onto his stomach for the first time on Sunday! He is getting more used to being on his belly, but he still prefers his back, so he usually just rolls straight onto his back whenever I put him down on his belly. He is also getting really good at eating now with his two little teeth on the bottom and loves to make big messes while he eats! I just can't believe how fast he is growing up! :) Oh I also had to take the bumper off of his crib because his new favorite thing to do whenever I would lay him down for a nap was to reach straight for the bumper and stick his head in and look out through the bars. So no more bumper! I was afraid he might get stuck in there and suffocate. What a silly little boy!

Moving, Christmas, and Lots of Snow
The past few weeks have gone by quickly! We have finally gotten settled into our new place here in Rexburg. We are now living at Heartland apartments, which are just down the road from both of the places we have lived before. (It is actually in between them both.) We like the location because it is close to the school and not far from my parent's house. Both of the places we lived before had the exact same layout and everything, so we wanted to switch it up a little. That is why we decided to try these apartments. Although we are sad to be in a different ward, I'm sure we will make new friends in our new ward. We are glad to be back close to family and friends and are very grateful for everyone who helped with this move. There is no way we could have done it by ourselves. I hope we are done moving for awhile, because I'm not sure how much more of it I can take. This was our 5th move since we have been married. So that makes 5 moves in 3 years! Yikes! No wonder I am getting sick of moving!
We were happy to be able to get most of the way moved in before Christmas came. It was really fun being able to spend time with family over the holidays. On Christmas Eve we had our traditional smorgasbord complete with turkey, ham, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls, cheeses, vegetable tray, shrimp coctail, egg nog, delicious salads and more! It is even bigger than Thanksgiving if you can believe that! Then afterwards we read "Stubby Pringles Christmas" story which is another tradition. It was great having everyone there to celebrate including Grandma Pieper, Uncle Russell, The Aktas family, and Uncle Fred and his family! It was so much fun! Although poor little Zaya didn't enjoy it too much, because he had just gotten his shots the day before and was still a little miserable from that. Also we had tried switching him to a less expensive formula which didn't sit well with him, so he kept throwing it all back up! He threw up all over the place all day.
So by the time Christmas day arrived the poor little guy was tuckered out. He was feeling much better, but he only opened a few presents in the morning and then he seemed to sleep most of the rest of the day.
On Christmas day we got to talk to my brother Paul who is currently surving a mission in Uruguay. It was so good to talk to him and are happy that he is doing well! Then we had a little devotional to remember the true meaning of Christmas and continued to open presents and just goofed around the rest of the day. It was lots of fun!
The day after Christmas my family left to go and visit my brother Ben and his family in Arizona. While they were gone it snowed a lot so we got their four wheeler and plowed out their driveway so they would be able to make it all the way home. :)

Working hard. You can barely see Zaya in this one.
