Memorial Day
Zaya loved watching the trolleys.
Old Town Sand Diego
Zaya eating one of his favorites...the Neccos. Not sure why he likes those. They remind me of Grandpa Boozler though! LOL!

It was too sunny! This was the best one we got of us.

My Little Firefighters
Lately Zaya has been obsessed with anything that has to do with fires. He is constantly telling me that we need to leave and go outside because there is smoke, and that he wants me to come check the fire alarm in the hallway....and the list goes on. So after him talking to me non stop one day about fires and smoke and smoke detectors, I decided we needed to get him some fire gear. So this is the best we could come up with. We discovered that his bike helmet is WAY too little for his big head so he had to settle for a baseball cap, that is also too small, but worked at least. So that was his fire helmet. Brooky got to use the bike helmet for her helmet and it fit her much better, although it was a little big. He did have on some winter gloves at one point too! Then I got an old paper towel roll for Brooky to use as her fire hose and an old wrapping paper roll for Zaya's hose! Boy did they have fun putting out the fires and waving their hoses around spraying out their pretend water! His favorite thing to pretend to put out fire was dad's Kayak that is out on the patio. He loved hosing it down! It just cracks me up how they look in their silly gear and how much fun they had playing firefighters together... these two silly kids!
And I guess Dad's kayak is at least getting a little use every now and then. I found Zaya just sitting out here relaxing one day. So funny!
Random Pics
Just had to snap a few pics of this girl before she grows up too fast on me! She has food all over herself, but is cute anyway. :)
This face just cracks me up!
Just love these guys to pieces! :)
Brooky eating her snacks and her friend Christian who was over visiting decided to help her out! Too cute. They are only a week apart. It is funny to see how active he is and always makes me wonder how much she would be on the move if she weren't stuck in her cast.
Padres vs Mariners Baseball Game
On July 23rd we went to Mormon night at the Padres game. We were able to get tickets for less so we decided to go. We got babysitters and had a lot of fun spending some time without the kids. It was also fun to have our friends Aline and Ben along. The Padres lost, but we had a fun time anyway! :) It has been forever since we went to a baseball game, and I think it was my first professional baseball game. :) We can't wait til the kids are a little older and came come and enjoy it with us!
