Trip to California

The first weekend in November we were able to take a nice little trip over to California to visit Casey's grandparents. We had a lot of fun. We were able to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Parsons on the ranch. We went for a ride in Grandpa's jeep (Isaiah loved driving). :) We saw a few tarantulas and some deer, but no bears or mountain lions. Casey had fun helping grandpa and fishing in his ponds. He didn't catch anything, but he still had fun fishing while Isaiah and I played. Isaiah also really loved Gunner and Stubby, grandpa's two dogs. He is still asking about them. He says,  "Gunner, Stubby...is he?" Like were are they mom? So I tell him that they are at Grandpa's house. Now he is starting to call his little stuffed animal puppy Gunner. :) Isaiah also loved Grandma's little wooden rocking chair that was just his size! We were also able to visit Grandma and Grandpa Davis and go out to dinner with them. I wish we would have got some pictures with them too. Oh well. We also took a short little trip down to Moro Bay Beach. Zaya absolutely loved stomping around on the wet sand, looking for sea shells, and being able to just roam wherever he wanted to. He had a blast. We found a few sand dollars that were whole! It was fun looking for those! Then we went and got fish and chips and clam chowder. It was so delicious. It was a nice little getaway and it was fun to be able to see everyone again. It also helped us get geared up for our even longer drive that we will be making for Thanksgiving.

My happy boys. We had to play games with Zaya to get him back to the car! He would have stayed there forever had we let him.

Cute little Zaya

He was a little scared of Grandpa. He wouldn't get too close.
